Business Insurance Agent Cliff Patterson joined McGriff in 2016. The vice president serves in a leadership role in McGriff’s Hospitality and Pest Control practice groups. He works with clients, including hundreds of pest management professionals and hotels, to provide highly personalized property and casualty insurance and risk management solutions.
Cliff has earned McGriff’s Sterling Performers Award twice and has been named to the President’s Club for sales excellence five times.
He began his insurance career in 2003 at SIA Group in Jacksonville, NC, where he worked primarily with hospitality and pest control businesses during his 13-year career there. The cum laude graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Risk Manager designations.
Cliff currently is a member of the NCRLA (North Carolina Restaurant & Lodging Association), NCPMA (North Carolina Pest Management Association), SCPCA (South Carolina Pest Control Association), VPMA (Virginia Pest Management Association) and a lifetime member of the AAHOA (Asia American Hotel Owners Association). He also is a member of Pest One and several local Hospitality and restaurant associations.
