Celebrating our 10th year as the lead agency for the arts in Wilmington and New Hanover County, the Arts Council is the nucleus of the $55.8 million local arts sector. In service to 100 nonprofit and for-profit arts businesses, artists of all genres, and audiences, we have administered $1 million+ in state and federal grants. Through our programs -Fourth Friday Gallery Nights and Pedestrian Art = and partnerships with NHC, the City of Wilmington, and ILM, we have greatly expanded the footprint of art spaces in New Hanover County.
